Apparently you haven’t seen Judge Judy or judge Joe Brown where friends and family are taking each other to court for going over their mins and not paying their bills that advise about joining a plan with a friend is bad advice but everything else you said is well taken keep the tips coming

I use to work for Cingular and WorldCom.

If you really want to put a dent in your phone bill.

GET OFF OF THE NATIONAL SERVICE PLAN
This is the plan where you can travel anywhere in the U.S. and make phone calls.

    Go with a local plan.

YOU: But I like to travel and I want my phone to work!
ME: How many times in the past year have you left your area?

YOU: uh… twice. Once to Brazil and once to Duluth, MN
ME: buy a phone card and use a pay phone.

ME: Switch to Metro PCS, Cricket or BOOST!!!!

I pay 89.00 per month. And I have Sprint it is an all inclusive plan. I think its called Simply Everything. I use my phone for business/personal and my home phone is a land line, I need it or business faxes, internet and my alarm. Other wise I would not have it. I tried joining a family plan! Oh no Honey they sucked up all the minutes and left me with the bill. No more sharing with my folks..Great tips gonna pass this along to all…
